Born in West Germany to Polish immigrant parents and raised in Melbourne, Filip Konikowskiโ€™s creative path began through the influence of his father, an artist and theatre designer, who first introduced him to photography.

Over the past 17 years, Filip has built a diverse career across portraiture, advertising, editorial, hospitality, documentary and moving image. His work is driven by instinct, atmosphere and human truth, capturing people, places and stories with a cinematic eye.

Filipโ€™s practice moves between commercial campaigns, brand storytelling and personal film projects. His work has been recognised internationally, including at the International Photography Awards, and exhibited across Australia and Europe.

Alongside his commercial practice, Filip is passionate about mentoring emerging creatives, helping them understand not only the craft of image-making, but the resilience, taste, collaboration and self-belief required to build a sustainable creative life.

Filipโ€™s work spans photography, motion and branded storytelling for clients across hospitality, fashion, design, corporate, cultural and creative industries.

Filipโ€™s projects include editorial portraiture, brand films, food and lifestyle campaigns, short films, exhibitions and published photography books.
